Job summary

Axiom-Path in the United States is seeking a seasoned SharePoint Administrator/Developer to join a high-visibility migration initiative spanning SharePoint On-Premises and Online, Microsoft 365, and governance in a regulated enterprise.

You will plan and execute migrations, build modern SharePoint solutions with SPFx and PowerShell, and collaborate with security and infra teams to deliver scalable, secure content management across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on administering SharePoint On-Premises and Online.
• Proven enterprise migrations from On-Prem to Online.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and site administration.
• PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, and operations.
• Knowledge of SPFx, REST APIs, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Experience with Entra ID/Azure AD, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Experience with migration tools such as ShareGate/SPMT is preferred.
• Familiarity with governance, retention, and regulatory-compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer SharePoint On-Premises and Online environments, including sites, permissions, storage, and configurations.
• Plan and execute migrations from legacy SharePoint to SharePoint Online with validation.
• Utilize migration tools to move content securely and efficiently.
• Develop SharePoint solutions using SPFx, PowerShell, REST APIs, and 365 integrations.
• Modernize legacy sites into scalable SharePoint Online implementations.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, infrastructure, and business teams on governance and lifecycle management.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and Level 3 support for SharePoint incidents and performance issues.
• Create clear technical documentation for architecture, migration planning, and operations.

This is a remote contract opportunity supporting a highly visible SharePoint modernization and migration initiative. The role offers the chance to work across SharePoint On-Premises, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, automation, governance, and enterprise migration execution while contributing to a broader digital workplace transformation.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Administer and support SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, permissions, storage, and platform configurations.
• Help plan and execute migrations from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online, including assessment, remediation, cutover, and post-migration validation.
• Use migration tools such as SharePoint Migration Tool, ShareGate, or similar enterprise platforms to move content securely and efficiently.
• Build and enhance SharePoint solutions using SPFx, PowerShell, REST APIs, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Modernize legacy SharePoint sites, workflows, and customizations into scalable modern SharePoint Online solutions.
• Partner with security, compliance, infrastructure, and business teams to support governance, retention, access control, and lifecycle management.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and Level 3 support for SharePoint-related incidents, performance issues, and user-impacting problems.
• Produce clear technical documentation for architecture, migration planning, operational processes, and support procedures.

Are you an experienced SharePoint Administrator / Developer ready to make an impact?

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering SharePoint On‑Premises and SharePoint Online environments.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise SharePoint On‑Premises to SharePoint Online migrations.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, service applications, authentication models, permissions, and site administration.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, migration, and operational support.
• Knowledge of modern SharePoint development, including SPFx, REST APIs, and modern site architecture.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 services such as Entra ID/Azure AD, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Experience with ShareGate, SPMT, or similar migration tools is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with records management, retention labels, compliance features, and governance practices is a plus.
• Power Platform experience, especially Power Apps and Power Automate, is preferred.
• Background supporting regulated, security-conscious, or enterprise-scale environments is highly valuable.
• Strong documentation, communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder support skills.
