About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Intranet Consultant to support the next phase of a modern SharePoint Online intranet initiative. This phase will focus heavily on advanced AI integrations, intelligent automation, and highly personalized employee experiences.

The consultant will work at the intersection of SharePoint development, generative AI, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and user experience. This is an opportunity to take ownership of technically sophisticated initiatives and introduce new ideas for how employees discover information, access internal tools, and interact with enterprise content.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced SharePoint Online functionality and custom solutions using SPFx (SharePoint Framework).
• Build AI-powered intranet experiences using leading generative AI platforms and context-aware capabilities.
• Develop integrations between SharePoint and internal or third-party applications using APIs, including Microsoft Graph API.
• Create dynamic and personalized employee experiences leveraging user context, permissions, conditional access, and supporting Azure services.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to improve UI/UX, automation, functionality, and overall intranet usability while proactively identifying opportunities for innovation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience developing and customizing SharePoint Online, including significant experience with SPFx.
• Experience implementing solutions using generative AI/LLM technologies and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and integrations between SharePoint and external applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, cloud-based architectures, user context, authentication, permissions, and conditional access concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and product-minded approach, with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive solutions; experience with UI/UX or visual design is a strong plus.
