Job summary

Aleut Corporation in Anchorage, AK seeks a Marketing Specialist to support communications and marketing efforts for shareholders and descendants. You will develop, coordinate, and publish content across newsletters, social media, and collateral, ensuring accuracy, branding, and timely delivery.

You will lead shareholder-facing communications projects, manage content calendars, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to align messaging with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field.
• Two years of direct experience in communications, public relations or marketing OR five years in an administrative support role.

Responsibilities

• Champion Aleut values: accountability, transparency and rigor.
• Develop and implement content strategies for Aleut shareholders and descendants.
• Create, edit, and publish high-quality content for social media and newsletters.
• Lead shareholder-facing communications projects to ensure timely, on-brand deliverables.
• Manage merchandising and collateral for events and Aleut Shop.
• Build relationships with shareholder artists and support Aleut events.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to align content with branding and goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams on corporate communications projects.
• Conduct research to keep content accurate and timely.
• Analyze content performance metrics to improve engagement.
• Manage content calendar for timely delivery of content pieces.
• Lead quarterly newsletters, including planning and coordination.
• Serve as primary lead for shareholder-facing campaigns and initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends to identify content opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
