Aleut Corporation in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support communications and marketing efforts for shareholders, descendants, and key audiences. You will develop, coordinate, and publish content across newsletters, social media, and collateral.

You will lead shareholder-facing campaigns, manage content calendars, and analyze performance metrics to improve engagement. Collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team is essential to ensure brand consistency and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field.
• Two years of direct experience in communications, public relations or marketing OR five years in administrative support in office setting.

Responsibilities

• Champion Aleut values: accountability, transparency and rigor.
• Develop and implement content strategies for Aleut shareholders and descendants.
• Create, edit, and publish high-quality content for various platforms including social media and newsletters.
• Lead shareholder-facing communications projects, ensuring deliverables are on time and aligned with goals.
• Manage merchandising and collateral needs for events and Aleut Shop.
• Build and maintain relationships with shareholder artists for events and engagements.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams on corporate and shareholder-facing communications.
• Conduct research to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and timely.
• Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement.
• Manage content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all pieces.
• Lead quarterly newsletters, including scheduling, planning, contributor coordination, and project management.
• Serve as primary communications lead for shareholder-facing campaigns and initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities for content development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
