Through planning, coordination and shared solutions, MARC helps communities across the region work more efficiently and effectively while advancing social, economic and environmental progress.

ABOUT THE ROLE

MARC is seeking a Shared Services Program Coordinator who will help local governments and public-sector partners connect with services that support stronger, more efficient operations. This role will support several value-added programs and by-request services for MARC members, helping members understand available options, navigate resources, and receive excellent service.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Loves organizing projects, timelines and details.
  • Enjoys helping customers and solving problems.
  • Learns new technology quickly and isn't intimidated by software platforms.
  • Notices gaps and proactively fixes them.
  • Can manage multiple projects without losing track of priorities.
  • Balances independence with collaboration.

This is a full-time, exempt professional position that supports MARC’s shared services, including KC Gov Jobs, the MARC salary survey, Government Training Institute, planning and permitting services, cooperative purchasing, and other member-focused resources. MARC offers a collaborative, mission-focused work environment and a competitive benefits package. Benefits include health, dental, vision and group-term life options, along with a benefit allowance for benefit-eligible employees.
