Job summary

MARC is seeking a Shared Services Program Coordinator to support local governments and public-sector partners with services such as KC Gov Jobs, salary surveys, and training initiatives. The role focuses on connecting members with options, navigating resources, and delivering excellent service.

The position emphasizes developing and maintaining programs, improving workflows, and expanding services while supporting sustainability and impact for MARC members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• At least three years of experience in program coordination, training management, event management, or a related field.
• Experience with local governments or public-sector organizations is preferred.
• Ability to learn technology platforms and use CRM/LMS systems effectively.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Track deliverables, timelines and deadlines to support service delivery.
• Assist with marketing and outreach plans for shared services and coordinate with Public Affairs.
• Support member events and engagements in coordination with MARC staff.
• Maintain technology platforms and improve processes to expand impact.
• Manage client contracts, invoices and grant reporting; monitor budgets and service sustainability.
