Job summary

Hands of Heartland is seeking compassionate individuals to become Shared Living Providers in the Fremont, NE area. You will share your home with a person with developmental disabilities and provide supports to meet daily needs in accordance with the person’s Individual Support Plan.

The role requires empathy, patience, and dependability, along with a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks. Prior experience with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Must be able to pass all background checks.
• Prefer at least one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Share housing with a person with developmental disabilities and provide supports to meet daily needs in alignment with the Individual Support Plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living, meal planning and preparation, transportation, and medication reminders.
