Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate Shared Living Provider to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home, offering daily support, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment.

You will live with the adult, provide daily care and support, and assist with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation. Training, background checks, and certification are provided, with 24/7 ViaQuest Manager support.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Background checks must be clear.
• Home safety assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support to an adult with developmental disabilities.
• Offer a private bedroom and a safe, inclusive home environment.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and transportation.
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities.
• Maintain simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff.

• An adult with a developmental disability will live in your home with you. You will provide them with daily care and support.
• Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities
• Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff
• Paid time off
• Additional room & board income (average $630/month)

• 24/7 support from a dedicated ViaQuest Manager
• Tools and assistance for documentation, billing, and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and good driving record
• Clean background checks
• Home that meets safety requirements (home assessment required)
• Home or renter's insurance
