Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's of science in nursing degree.
• Three years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Registered Nurse - NJ.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage a large amount of activity and several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the organizational shared governance structure.
• Mentor staff and leaders in shared governance practice.
• Attend shared governance meetings and provide guidance and support with project development and outcome identification.
• Support recognition of clinical staff and clinical initiatives.
• Collaborate with departmental leadership to develop recognition programs.
• Serve as a resource for external recognition/designation programs.
• Participate in clinical research and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Promote staff participation in clinical research and evidence-based practice projects.
• Promote dissemination of clinical programs and projects at internal and external conferences and publications.
• Analyze quality data metrics and develop programs to improve outcomes.
• Assist in maintaining databases and identifying appropriate benchmarks.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to drive clinical practice and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Promote evidence-based practice and clinical excellence.
• Participate in educational initiatives promoting shared governance, evidence-based practice, and clinical excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
