Job summary

ComForCare Home Care Dallas-Garland is seeking a Shared Care Caregiver to support multiple clients within a premier senior living community. You will move between residents, performing companionship, personal care, mobility support, meals, and light housekeeping, tracked in our care app.

We value honesty, reliability, and strong time management. You will use a smartphone to document visits, participate in training, and have opportunities to pick up additional shifts as census grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, independent living, memory care, or skilled nursing facility.
• Strong time management to balance multiple clients per shift.
• Reliable smartphone and ability to document tasks in our care app.
• Comfort with technology and digital record-keeping.
• High school diploma or GED and access to reliable transportation.
• Must pass a criminal background check and registry checks as required by Texas HHSC.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to multiple clients during each shift within one senior living community.
• Follow individualized care plans in our app and document each task as completed.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Manage light household needs and provide companionship.

This is a long-term role supporting multiple clients within one premier independent living community — not a one-to-one home care position. If you're an efficient, reliable caregiver who wants steady hours in a single location with a growing client base, this role was built for you.

ComForCare Home Care Dallas-Garland is the preferred home care provider at a premier independent living community in Lake Highlands, and our Shared Care program is growing quickly. As a Shared Care Caregiver, you'll move between multiple clients throughout your shift, completing scheduled care tasks for each — companionship, personal care, mobility support, meals, and household needs — all coordinated through a care app on your smartphone.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience working in an assisted living, independent living, memory care, or skilled nursing facility — or a proven track record of highly efficient, organized caregiving
• Strong time management: you'll be balancing multiple clients and tasks every shift
• A reliable smartphone — care plans and task documentation are completed in our app
• Comfort with technology and accurate, timely digital record-keeping
• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Access to reliable transportation
• Must pass a criminal background check and Employee Misconduct Registry/Nurse Aide Registry check as required by Texas HHSC
