Job summary

ComForCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support, companionship, and essential personal care to clients in their own homes. duties include mobility assistance, meal planning, and follow-up on each client’s Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA license, CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform mobility tasks.
• Experience with Hoyer lift and mobility devices.
• Read/write Plan of Care and follow care instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Assist with meals, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Provide companionship and respite services for family.
• Follow Plan of Care and document care performed.

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Valid CNA License
• Current CPR and First aid certificate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and perform necessary movements
• Experience with Hoyer lift and other mobility assistance devices
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Willing to work flexible shifts

Shifts:

• Full-time, Part-time, or PRN shifts options

Salary Range:

• $15.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience
