Job summary

The University of Saint Joseph seeks a Coordinator of Graduate Programs for Teachers to oversee the implementation, coordination, and daily operation of graduate programs for practicing teachers within the Department of Education.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Teacher Education Programs, this role manages logistics, scheduling, data collection, and LMS upkeep to support student progression and accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification.
• Experience in PK-12 or higher-ed program coordination.
• Experience with graduate or cohort-based programs.
• Experience with LMS (Blackboard) preferred.
• Connecticut 092 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of graduate programs for practicing teachers.
• Manage cohort schedules, course sequencing, timelines, and progression.
• Coordinate cohort orientation sessions and distribute virtual materials.
• Maintain attendance verification and compliance at term start.
• Maintain program calendars, timelines, and tracking systems.
• Serve as liaison with KTA partners to support educator recruitment and enrollment.
• Develop and maintain course schedules and coordinate with faculty availability.
• Monitor enrollment and assist with course section adjustments.
• Support student onboarding, planning of study paths, and progression tracking.
• Maintain LMS content, gradebooks, and provide basic LMS guidance to adjuncts.
• Collect and report data for program reviews and accreditation.
