Job summary

Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking an experienced security operations leader to oversee the park's Security Department, including scheduling, inspections, and guest/employee support.

You will mentor Officers, ensure compliance with laws and park policies, and drive safe, professional operations across shifts. Pay rate up to $17.50/hr. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Safety-focused mindset with the ability to help ensure smooth, efficient operations during each shift.
  • At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience in security, preferably in a theme park or high-volume venue.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing daily security operations and supporting safe park operations.
  • Experience training seasonal or newly hired Officers on security procedures and guest service expectations.
  • Experience responding to disturbances, theft investigations, medical emergencies, and other security incidents.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor and serve as a role model in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Ability to complete and maintain required security-related training and certifications.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, crouching, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently perform all duties of Ambassador and Officer while upholding guest service standards.
  • Assist with department and site-specific training for Officers.
  • Conduct audits, skills assessments, and performance reviews for operational readiness and compliance.
  • Ensure guest and employee compliance with state laws, policies, and park rules.
  • Ensure security personnel comply with company, department, and site policies.
  • Monitor team member conduct and performance; provide coaching or disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Perform daily safety and operational audits to meet guest safety standards.
  • Serve as a Park Guest Service Ambassador by addressing guest concerns.
  • Collaborate with park leadership to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by park leadership.

Six Flags Over Georgia is looking for an experienced leader skilled in security operations, team training, incident response, compliance, and exceptional guest service. A strong leader committed to keeping every shift running smoothly and safely. This position is directly responsible for the operations of the Six Flags Over Georgia Security Department. This position will prepare work schedules, performs inspections, and assists guests/employees in the park.

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently perform all duties and responsibilities of an Ambassador and Officer while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and guest service.
  • Assist with department and site-specific training for newly hired Officers.
  • Conduct audits, skills assessments, and performance reviews with Officers to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
  • Ensure guest and employee compliance with applicable state laws, corporate policies, department procedures, and park-specific policies.
  • Ensure Security personnel consistently comply with all company, department, and site policies and procedures.
  • Monitor team member demeanor, conduct, and performance; recognize and reward strong performance while providing coaching, corrective action, or disciplinary recommendations when necessary.
  • Conduct daily operational and safety audits to ensure guest safety requirements are met and team members consistently achieve or exceed established service standards.
  • Serve as a Park Guest Service Ambassador by providing exceptional customer service and effectively addressing and resolving guest concerns.
  • Collaborate with Park leadership and department personnel to maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for guests and employees.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Park leadership.

Payrate: up to $17.50/hr

  • Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor, and serve as a role model in fast-paced and challenging environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, associates, Officers, and leadership.
  • Computer proficient, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and varying operational schedules.
  • Ability and willingness to complete and maintain required security-related training and certifications.
  • Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as well as crouching, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
