Job summary

Six Flags Over Georgia is seeking an experienced security operations leader to oversee the park's Security Department, including scheduling, inspections, and guest/employee support.

You will mentor Officers, ensure compliance with laws and park policies, and drive safe, professional operations across shifts. Pay rate up to $17.50/hr. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping others and committed to supporting guests and associates.
• Ability to work effectively and interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Safety-focused mindset with the ability to help ensure smooth, efficient operations during each shift.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience in security, preferably in a theme park or high-volume venue.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing daily security operations and supporting safe park operations.
• Experience training seasonal or newly hired Officers on security procedures and guest service expectations.
• Experience responding to disturbances, theft investigations, medical emergencies, and other security incidents.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor and serve as a role model in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
• Ability to complete and maintain required security-related training and certifications.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, crouching, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform all duties of Ambassador and Officer while upholding guest service standards.
• Assist with department and site-specific training for Officers.
• Conduct audits, skills assessments, and performance reviews for operational readiness and compliance.
• Ensure guest and employee compliance with state laws, policies, and park rules.
• Ensure security personnel comply with company, department, and site policies.
• Monitor team member conduct and performance; provide coaching or disciplinary actions when needed.
• Perform daily safety and operational audits to meet guest safety standards.
• Serve as a Park Guest Service Ambassador by addressing guest concerns.
• Collaborate with park leadership to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by park leadership.
