Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a temporary Instructional Designer to translate upcoming SFDC/CPQ system changes into targeted training assets, including simulations, quick reference guides, and short eLearning modules, aligned to release schedules.

The role partners with product owners, SMEs, and enablement stakeholders to own the end-to-end enablement workstream, design appropriate training approaches, monitor learner readiness, and drive adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Education, Life Science, Clinical Diagnostics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of instructional design experience in a fast-paced environment with ownership of projects/workstreams, including remote cross-cultural collaboration.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to convey complex information clearly across training and end-user communications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product owners and SMEs to understand system functionality changes and training requirements.
• Own enablement workstream planning, execution, and delivery aligned to release timelines.
• Determine training approaches (simulations, quick references, videos, eLearning, live support).
• Design, develop, and launch training materials aligned to release timelines.
• Develop and execute change management plans to support user readiness and adoption.
• Create and deliver clear end-user communications (release announcements, updates, reminders).
• Monitor end-user knowledge and skills through simulations, surveys, and feedback loops.
• Provide just-in-time support and office hours to reinforce adoption.
