Job summary

The Third Coast Foundry Manager is a full-time, San Francisco-based staff member responsible for ensuring that Third Coast Foundry operates smoothly and serves as a welcoming, high-functioning hub for Midwest innovation in the Bay Area.

This role focuses on day-to-day operations, facilities, scheduling, and event execution, while also acting as an ambassador for the space and coordinating with Polsky Center staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
• Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are highly valued.
• Experience in event coordination, facility operations, and university stakeholder engagement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as on-the-ground ambassador for Third Coast Foundry in San Francisco.
• Translates strategic guidance into practical operating plans and communications.
• Manages daily operations and ensures space is welcoming and professional.
• Oversees facilities, safety, and access control.
• Leads development and execution of events and programming.
