Exa, the AI-powered search startup, seeks a Field Marketing Manager in San Francisco to own the regional events program. You will design and execute strategic experiences for developers and enterprise buyers, partnering with Sales to build pipeline and brand presence across the West Coast.

You’ll lead budgets, vendors, and run-of-show, while leveraging AI to streamline outreach, measure impact, and optimize post-event follow-ups for maximum ROI.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in field marketing or event marketing at a B2B technology company.
• Experience running events for both developer and enterprise audiences, including AI-native audiences.
• Track record of owning pipeline and forecasting event impact.
• Strong collaboration with Sales, SDRs and account executives to drive opportunities.
• Deep knowledge of venues, vendors, and event tactics to attract developers and senior buyers in SF and beyond.
• Meticulous budget and timeline management with measurable outcomes.
• Willingness to leverage AI to streamline outreach and event operations.

Responsibilities

• Own regional program strategy and annual event plan, with budgets and goals.
• End-to-end event execution from concept to post-event follow-up, ensuring strong attendance and pipeline impact.
• Partner with Sales to target personas and accounts and create repeatable event playbooks.
• Lead post-event lead handoff and follow-up sequences with SDRs and Marketing Ops.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and cost per qualified lead to maximize impact.
• Apply AI to improve invite lists, outreach at scale, and event recaps.
