Job summary

Canvas Health is seeking an after-hours sexual violence crisis line advocate in Minnesota. The role provides crisis line coverage and in-person advocacy during medical forensic exams in hospital emergency rooms.

This hybrid position requires on-call responsibility during overnights, weekends, and holidays, and supports diverse populations through compassionate, survivor-centered services.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 40 hours of state-mandated training through a sexual assault advocacy program.
• Experience in sexual assault advocacy.
• Must have a personal automobile, valid driver's license, and auto insurance coverage for business travel.
• Bachelor's Degree in human services or the equivalent in training and expertise.
• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours sexual violence crisis line coverage.
• Provide in-person advocacy during medical forensic exams in hospital emergency rooms.
• On-call coverage during overnights, weekends, and holidays.
