State Bureau of Investigation in North Carolina is seeking a Program Coordinator III (NS) to supervise the Sex Offender Registration Program. You will oversee the unit, ensure accurate offender data submission, and coordinate with SBI IT, legal counsel, and legislative affairs on registry matters.

You will lead staff, manage workflows, and guide special projects while aligning with state policies and compliance requirements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a business setting.
• Experience creating and presenting training materials.
• Experience providing oral presentations and/or reports.
• Experience interpreting and explaining policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.

• Manage the unit to support public access and respond to questions/concerns.
• Ensure sheriff offices submit required sex offender information to the NC registry accurately.
• Collaborate with SBI IT staff on technical needs and changes.
• Develop and supervise staff and manage workflow within the unit.
• Coordinate special projects and assess grant opportunities to enhance compliance.
