Job summary

State Bureau of Investigation is seeking a Program Coordinator I to perform audit and investigative analysis in support of the Sex Offender and Public Protection Registration program. The role includes providing investigative assistance to law enforcement, performing data analyses, and ensuring accuracy of websites and databases.

The position requires coordination with local sheriffs, USMS, ICE, and probation offices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Sex Offender and Public Protection Registration Programs.
• Experience reviewing and analyzing criminal histories, judgments, court orders, and/or registration documents.
• Experience auditing registration files for completeness and accuracy of documentation.
• Experience communicating via phone, email and in person in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduces compliance audit of local sheriffs’ SOR files.
• Provides training to new staff members and administrative specialists.
• Provides on-site training to the local Sheriffs’ SOR staff.
• Assists with processing weekly offender address verification letters.
• POC to USMS, ICE, and US Probation offices on registration issues.
• Lead staff member in absence of unit supervisor.
• POC for SORNA relocations and court-ordered petitions.
