Job summary

4over is seeking a Sewing Operator for the Grand4Mat line in Arlington, TX. The role covers set-up, adjustment and safe operation of sewing equipment to produce products meeting customer specs.

The position is on 1st shift, Mon-Fri, with early start times and potential training at other times. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, plus 1–2 years in a wide/large format production environment and sewing machine experience (Singer/Juki).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience in wide/large format production.
• 1–2 years experience with Singer or Juki sewing machines.

Responsibilities

• Examine job orders to determine quantities and production times.
• Set up sewing machines to specifications and run product.
• Refer to orders for sewing garments and select materials.
• Monitor machine speed, temperature and hem alignment to maintain specs.
• Adjust machines to maintain specifications and timely flow of materials.
• Inspect products for defects and conformance to specs.
• Troubleshoot machine and notify Supervisor/Plant Manager if needed.
• Complete required paperwork and records.
• Perform general housekeeping in work area.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a safe environment.
• Attend department/company meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
