Job summary

GESMV is seeking a Sewing Operations Manager to lead and train team members in sewing machine operations, cutting processes, and sewing procedures. You will provide troubleshooting support and collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure adherence to established processes and quality standards.

You will drive efficient production workflow, mentor staff across multiple workstations, and participate in inspections and machine adjustments to address quality issues.

Qualifications

• Previous sewing experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Train team members on sewing machine operations, cutting, and sewing procedures.
• Provide sewing machine troubleshooting assistance.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure processes are followed.
• Help establish and maintain production workflow meeting quotes.
• Learn and train on various equipment and sewing techniques.
• Willingness to work across different workstations as needed.
• Train team on inspection and repair of finished products and adjust machines as needed.
• Comply with safety and regulatory standards (CARF, HIPAA, DOL).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
