Job summary

B-Sew Inn is a family-owned sewing machine and service business with five retail locations and a nationwide education division. The Service Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sewing and embroidery equipment while delivering exceptional customer service in a full-time role.

The position entails working Saturdays and responsibilities across parts, repairs, and guest communication. We value technical knowledge, strong communication, teamwork, and efficiency in a dynamic retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' relevant experience and/or previous training required.
• 2-year technical degree or similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and adheres to BSI's culture.
• Lift machines, dismantle, replace parts.
• Clean parts and machine.
• Test machine performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions and improve to prevent issues.
• Submit parts requests and manage inventory.
• Maintain records using POS system.
• Notify guests of repair status.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing needs courteously.
• Assist guests over the phone or in person with issues.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
