Job summary

Nesco Resource in Hodgenville is seeking Sewing Machine Operators to assemble uniform apparel on the 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 7 AM to 3 PM. You will operate high-speed industrial sewing machines, stitch parts into garments, and finalize details in a fast-paced production environment.

This role requires attention to detail and manual dexterity, with opportunities to contribute to quality and efficiency. Located in the Hodgenville/Elizabethtown area, the position offers a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Experience operating high-speed industrial sewing machines.
• Ability to measure, cut, pin and sew fabric pieces.
• Capable of pressing garments and following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a high-speed industrial sewing machine using various fabrics.
• Measure, cut, pin, and sew fabric pieces.
• Fit, alter, and assemble made-to-measure garments according to specs.
• Press garments with hand irons or presses.
• Maintain sewing machine and keep the area clean and orderly.
• Follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Nesco Resource has openings in the Hodgenville area for a Sewing Machine Operator. 1st shift Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM.

Position Summary:

The Sewing Machine Operators will assemble uniform apparel. They will operate high-speed industrial sewing machines that stitch clothing parts into individual garments or will perform a manual task involved in the final details of our garments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a high-speed industrial sewing machine using a variety of materials, e.g., cotton, rayon, polyester and wool or combination of fabric contents.
• Measure, cut, pin, and sew fabric pieces.
• Fit, alter, and make made-to-measure clothing according to customers' specifications and guidelines.
• Press garments, using hand irons or pressing machines.
• Follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Maintains sewing machine to ensure proper working order.
• Keeps working area clean and orderly.
