Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking an Excavation Technician to perform residential and commercial trenching, pipe repairs, and installations. The role emphasizes safety, customer interaction, and timely project completion, using equipment like back-hoe and mini-excavator.

Training wage starts at $17.75–$24.00 per hour with potential commissions after training. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on excavation experience in residential and commercial settings.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required depending on vehicle.
• Proficient in confined spaces and trench operations.
• Able to complete jobs within specified timelines.
• Current CDL or able to obtain within 90 days.
• Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience a plus.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety by strictly adhering to OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety protocols.
• Interact with customers as needed.
• Perform excavation tasks followed by pipe repairs or new pipe installations as an Excavation Technician.
• Operate excavation equipment to dig trenches and load materials.
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches.
• Locate and reach job sites promptly; drive service vehicle safely.
