Job summary

Hamilton County Water and Wastewater Treatment Authority (WWTA) seeks a skilled operator to perform maintenance and inspection of the sanitary sewer collection and wastewater treatment systems. The role includes operating vacuum/jetter trucks, pumper trucks, and other heavy vehicles, while ensuring safety and compliance with WWTA rules and regulations.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid Class B CDL and Tank Endorsement (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience driving multi-axle trucks or operating heavy equipment.
• Safety training and ability to work around heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy vehicles and equipment safely.
• Inspect service connections, sewer lines, and construction projects.
• Maintain documentation of work performed and materials delivered.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours calls as needed.
