Job summary

Horsham Water & Sewer Authority is seeking an entry-level technician to assist in operating, inspecting, maintaining, and supporting the water distribution and wastewater collection systems under a Field Operations Supervisor. Training will be provided with responsibilities expanding as knowledge grows.

The role requires a high school diploma, PA driver’s license, and willingness to obtain PADEP certifications and a CDL Class B within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to learn mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic concepts.
• CPR and First Aid certification required after six months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, inspection, maintenance, and general upkeep of water distribution and wastewater systems under supervision.
• Learn certifications (PADEP Collection System, Distribution System) within two years.
• Possess readiness for outdoor work in varying weather and around moving equipment.
