Job summary

Henry County Water Authority is seeking a Service Technician – Wastewater to perform sewer line repairs, maintenance, jetting, video inspections, and installation of sewer lines and related infrastructure.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Georgia driver’s license. Class A CDL and/or Georgia Wastewater Collection Systems License are preferred but not required. Candidates must meet safety and physical demands outlined in the job description.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with safety procedures and equipment operation preferred.
• Strong ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repairs manholes and sewer lines, including rehab using root control and epoxy coatings.
• Operates jetting trucks to clean sewer lines and roadways; conducts CCTV inspections.
• Locates and inspects sewer infrastructure, maintains ARVs and sewer meters, and documents work orders.
