Job summary

The Crestview City of is seeking a Lift Station Technician to assist in maintaining and repairing sewer lift stations and related equipment. The role is full-time in Florida with an annual salary of $38,646.40.

Responsibilities include operating pumps, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, keeping accurate maintenance records, and ensuring safe work zones. A valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement within six months is required or to be obtained soon after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years mechanical experience preferred.
• Requires valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement within six months of hire.
• Water and sewer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair sewer lift stations, odor scrubbers, and collection system.
• Operate pumps and control panels; assist in electrical/mechanical/hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Operate trucks (crane, VACTOR) and hand tools; ensure safe operation.
• Keep accurate work orders and maintenance logs; report needs to supervisor.
• Maintain safe work zones and traffic control.
