Job summary

Q Products and Services, part of the Lanco Group of Companies, is expanding and adding a 2nd Shift for a Sewer. This role operates sewing machines to assemble textile products, prepares machines and materials, and inspects quality while maintaining safe practices.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years sewing experience, strong attention to detail, good communication, basic math, and color vision. Benefits are included with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of sewing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Basic math skills including fractions.
• Ability to distinguish colors in a normal spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sewing machines by changing needles and thread and loading spindles.
• Sew materials under machine guidance following patterns and specs.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust settings for quality.
• Inspect materials for flaws before sewing.
• Check finished products against standards and specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental regulations.
