Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. seeks a Level 2 Sewer in Elkhart, Indiana to operate sewing machines and support textile production. The role requires setting up equipment, monitoring operation, and ensuring correct color and pattern alignment across runs.

Preferred candidates have sewing experience; pre-employment sewing test is required. This full-time hourly position offers indoor manufacturing work with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous sewing experience required; pre-employment sewing test for Level 2 Sewer new hires.
• Meets all production standards for efficiency and quality, defined by BU leadership.
• Cross trained on several different products; attendance and safety standards expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Set up the sewing machine and peripherals, selecting tools and equipment.
• Monitor machine operation and fix attachments such as needles and threads as needed.
• Ensure textile parts follow correct sequences and match color lots and patterns.
