Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Field Technician to perform field operations of collection and distribution systems in Rhode Island. You will operate CCTV, jetting, vacuum equipment and assist with inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, compliant system performance.

The role requires ability to record work in CMMS, respond to emergencies within 45 minutes, and work outdoors year-round, often within 45 miles of Woonsocket. Driving is required and safety training is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent reading/writing ability.
• Experience in a similar environment preferred; knowledge of safety practices and tools common to the trade.
• Experience with safety programs including confined space, lockout/tagout, fall protection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewer/storm/distribution equipment safely and efficiently (CCTV truck, jetting, vacuum).
• Record all work activities into CMMS systems per policy.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with inspections, manhole entries, and related system improvements as directed.
• Respond to emergencies and work in various field conditions.
