Job summary

NC State University seeks a SEVIS Data and Compliance Analyst to maintain F-1/J-1 records in SEVIS and support compliance reporting to DHS. The role requires acting as DSO/ARO, data synthesis, and coordination with OIS staff to ensure timely reporting and regulatory adherence.

You will handle Sunapsis and SEVIS workflows, perform data cleanup, and assist with training and process documentation across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience handling student data and reporting.
• Knowledge of SEVIS and regulatory updates applicable to international students.
• Understanding of university student and personnel information systems and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Act as DS0/ARO as required to perform event-based and periodic reporting and manage SEVIS data.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources to support new student registrations and identify compliance issues.
• Perform registration for returning F-1 and J-1 students and resolve alerts in SEVIS/Sunapsis.
• Manage delegated SEVIS data maintenance and data cleanup, run queries for compliance reporting.
• Assist with Sunapsis, eForm, and access management; prepare training and documentation.
• Back up intake and provide technical assistance on processes and procedures.
