Job summary

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Mandatory crisis prevention intervention training.
• Medication administration training provided by the district.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students.
• Ability to modify curriculum to meet student needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities, adapting curriculum for individuals and small groups.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Assist with materials, tests, attendance, and classroom events.
• Support online/remote learning activities and technology troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
