Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a dedicated Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with intensive special education needs under licensed staff supervision. You will assist with curriculum delivery, skill development, behavior strategies, and documentation of progress in both in-person and remote settings.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, monitoring achievement, providing physical care as needed, and helping students access technology and coursework.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma required.
• No professional work experience required (entry level).
• Two years of higher education or an associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Implement IEP-based accommodations and track progress with licensed staff.
• Assist with preparing materials, attendance, and related paperwork.
• Support online learning activities and technology access for remote settings.
