Job summary

Candidates with 0–2 years of experience and basic measurement tool knowledge will thrive. The position involves reading shop orders, maintaining quality, and supporting maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of measuring tools (tape measure, calipers) preferred.
• Able to read and interpret simple shop orders or instructions.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently install dies into equipment and perform adjustments as needed.
• Show aptitude for basic troubleshooting of dies and machines.
• Test and inspect machines to ensure safe operation and perform routine maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop orders to determine setup and method.
• Operate powered industrial equipment as required.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards and keep work area clean.
• Follow Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Safely and efficiently install dies into various types of equipment and perform adjustments as needed.
• Show aptitude for basic trouble shooting of dies and machines.
• Test and inspect machines to determine safe and efficient operation, perform routine maintenance and fix standard malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation
• Operate powered industrial equipment if needed
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• Perform work under direct supervision
• Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff
• Possess beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.
• 0 to 2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment
