About the Job

The Setup Technician plays a critical role in achieving on-time, in-full deliveries and returns, and ensures high levels of product quality (less than 60-day call & First Time Quality) for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Perform duties essential to setting up units, including anchoring, leveling, seaming, VAPS installation, steps, canopies, and ramps.
  • Assist with installation and removal of skirting as needed.
  • Handle duties related to the disassembly of buildings, including shipping walls, securing exterior walls, disconnecting utilities, and preparing items for shipment.
  • Provide service work on customer units, such as electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Perform customer modifications.
  • Complete Work Orders and Service Orders using the Field Service Application.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Perform duties as a Branch Service Tech or Field Service Tech as required.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers at all levels.
Education and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades are essential.
  • Experience with setup and knockdown preferred.
  • Experience with customer relationship management is a plus.
  • Previous management experience or work with other trades is advantageous.
  • Basic computer skills and good communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Salary Range: $28.25 - $39.55 per hour. Compensation depends on factors such as experience, certifications, and skill level, and may include overtime, bonuses, or commissions.
