Customer Success Executive – German speaking

We use tech to provide frictionless financing to ecommerce sellers. Storfund is available on 18 Amazon marketplaces, TikTok Shop, Back Market and a growing number of other marketplaces around the world. Established in London in 2018, we’ve grown rapidly and now support businesses from California to Shanghai.
Position
We’re looking for a Customer Success Executive who’s commercially minded, confident building strong relationships and experienced in managing accounts. This role is not just ‘answering support tickets’, you’ll own and manage a portfolio of clients globally and work closely with them to help their businesses grow. You’ll need to understand their goals, spot opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, and make sure they’re getting real value from our product.
The team
Reporting to the Customer Success Manager, Holly, you’ll be part of a tight-knit Customer Success team of four, all of whom are collaborative, supportive, and invested in helping each other succeed. You’ll also be working within a wider team of around 50 people globally, where trust and collaboration are at the core. Although you’ll develop close relationships with your clients, you’ll interact daily with teams across Tech, Finance, and Sales – making this a truly cross-functional role that helps shape the broader Storfund product and experience.
About you
- You’re fluent in German (full working proficiency) and confident using it in a professional setting.
- You’re hungry to grow your portfolio and take real ownership of client relationships.
- You know how to build trust with clients, especially when it comes to sensitive topics like finances and cash flow — and you don’t take that responsibility lightly.
- You’re a self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do – you see opportunities and act on them.
- You’ve got a track record of success in Account Management, ideally with global SMBs, and you’re comfortable owning commercial targets.
- You’re confident presenting, explaining complex ideas clearly, and adapting your style depending on who you’re talking to.
- You understand the ecommerce landscape, and if you’ve already built a network in the digital commerce space, even better.
- Experience with global payments or credit is a plus – but a willingness to learn fast is just as important.
- You’re comfortable with some travel and enjoy face-to-face time with clients and your team when needed.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the performance of your accounts – track what’s working, spot what’s not, and act fast to drive improvements before issues arise.
- Spend time really understanding your clients’ businesses – their goals, pain points, and priorities – and turn those insights into opportunities to grow revenue.
- Be the person they trust – the one they come to for advice, clarity, and support when it comes to managing their cash flow and navigating growth.
- Work closely with internal teams (Tech, Finance, Sales) to champion your clients internally and make sure we’re always delivering value.
- Look for ways to add value beyond the basics – introduce new features, encourage deeper product use, and lead smart cross-sell or upsell conversations.
- Make sure clients have the tools and reporting they need to run their business, and that they know how to use them to their advantage.
