Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies is seeking a Setup Machinist/Operator to support precision machining in a high-quality manufacturing environment. You will set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision components, and contribute to continuous improvement while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3 to 7 years of experience, can read blueprints and GD&T, and is proficient with micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

3 to 7 years of precision machining experience.
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or similar machining equipment.
Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers.
Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools, including mills and lathes, to manufacture precision components.
Run existing CNC programs and make minor program edits, offsets, and tool adjustments as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, work instructions, and GD&T specifications.
Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment and verify dimensions and tolerances.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve efficiency and quality.
