Job summary

Quill & Arrow LLP seeks a Settlement Specialist to manage the settlement process for Lemon Law cases. You will communicate with clients, review financial documents, and relay settlement terms to clients.

You will collaborate with attorneys to ensure timely resolution and maintain detailed case notes for accurate client accounting. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion in handling confidential information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; legal education or certification is a plus.

Job description

Overview:

Quill & Arrow is seeking a skilled and professional Settlement Specialist to join our Lemon Law department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the settlement process for our clients' cases, communicating with clients, and relaying financial terms to clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients regarding the Settlement process of their case.
  • Review and analyze financial documents and calculate settlement amounts.
  • Work closely with attorneys to ensure timely and accurate settlement of cases.
  • Maintain detailed case notes and updates on client accounts
Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional legal education or certification is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and external parties.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Preferred:
  • Previous experience as a settlement specialist or in a similar role within a law firm or legal setting.
  • Proficiency in using relevant legal software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite & Clio).
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
