Parnall Law Firm is seeking an experienced Settlement Paralegal to manage the final stage of cases, ensuring every settlement dollar is negotiated, verified, and disbursed accurately and on time. You will handle subrogation and Medicare/Medicaid claims with a focus on maximizing net recovery for clients.

The role requires 2+ years in personal injury settlements, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in case management software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct personal injury settlement experience, including lien negotiation and subrogation.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid claims handling and distributions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and professional demeanor.
• Proficiency with case management software and document preparation.

Responsibilities

• Contact adjusters to follow up on ledgers and reductions as needed.
• Verify subrogation, lien, and medical balances for timely distributions.
• Negotiate health insurance and med-pay subrogation claims and liens.
• Maintain status updates in all cases and ensure accurate, timely disbursements.
