Job summary

Varantec, Inc. seeks a skilled professional to support the integrated Program Office by overseeing taskers, conducting outreach, and ensuring seamless execution of program acquisition activities.

The role emphasizes Test & Validation planning, Configuration Management, and Risk Management as the trusted advisor for major milestones. The candidate will act as SETA Lead for milestone planning, manage RFC triage, and collaborate with government and SME teams to mitigate risks and ensure

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of IC and/or DoD spacecraft systems.
• Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management.
• Experience with program acquisition, risk management, and configuration management in a government or defense setting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including government, SETA, and FFRDC personnel.

Responsibilities

• Review all TIER taskers from Program Offices, the Enterprise, and Mission Partners to assess relevancy, resource allocation, and deadlines.
• Conduct outreach activities with IC partners and Enterprise members to support program acquisition efforts.
• Ensure effective planning of test activities, including scheduling, resource management, and requirement satisfaction.
• Serve as the SETA Lead, ensuring major milestones are proactively planned and all necessary documentation, schedules, and coordination efforts are completed successfully.
• Lead triage efforts for RFCs, evaluating potential programmatic impacts and assigning appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Act as the Program Risk Lead, identifying and assessing risks and opportunities, collaborating with government and subject matter experts to implement mitigation strategies.
