Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a SETA Space Support Lead to provide mid-to-senior level technical and operational leadership in a SCIF environment supporting classified space programs in the National Capital Region.

The ideal candidate holds active TS/SCI with Polygraph, has IC experience, and a technical background in aerospace or related fields; responsibilities include mission planning, flight operations, and system integration for electro-optical, infrared, and spectral systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• 10+ years of experience supporting IC, national security, space, or technical mission programs.
• Prior Intelligence Community experience.
• Ability to work in a SCIF.
• Technical background in aerospace, astronautical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Understanding of IC space architecture.
• Experience supporting IC flight operations.
• Experience supporting space integration involving electro-optical, infrared, and spectral systems.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across stakeholders and implement actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA space mission support to government customers across technical, operational, integration, and program execution activities.
• Lead or support technical coordination for IC space architecture, flight operations, and mission integration activities.
• Support space integration involving electro‑optical, infrared, and spectral systems with cross-team coordination.
• Assess technical issues, mission risks, integration challenges, and operational constraints affecting classified space programs.
• Develop courses of action, coordinate with stakeholders, and support implementation through resolution.
• Apply expertise to evaluate mission needs, system performance, and integration approaches.
• Coordinate with government, SETA, FFRDC, UARC, industry, and mission partner teams in classified environments.
• Develop technical briefings, white papers, COA recommendations, and leadership updates.
• Maintain awareness of schedules, dependencies, constraints, and priorities.
• Work in a SCIF and support mission priorities in the NCR.
