A veteran-owned small business is seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee program acquisition and provide expertise in Test & Validation, Configuration Management, and Risk Management. The ideal candidate should possess an active TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and experience in Intelligence Community systems. Responsibilities include task management, outreach, milestone planning, and risk management, all while ensuring successful execution of program activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DoD spacecraft systems.
  • Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management.
  • Experience with program acquisition, risk management, and configuration management in a government or defense setting.

Responsibilities

  • Review TIER taskers for relevancy, resource allocation, and deadlines.
  • Conduct outreach activities to support program acquisition efforts.
  • Ensure effective planning of test activities and resource management.
  • Serve as the SETA Lead for milestone planning and document coordination.
  • Lead triage efforts for Requests for Change (RFCs) and evaluate programmatic impacts.
  • Identify and assess risks and opportunities collaborating on mitigation strategies.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support our integrated Program Office by overseeing taskers, conducting outreach, and ensuring seamless execution of program acquisition activities. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in Test & Validation planning, Configuration Management, and Risk Management while acting as a trusted advisor for major program milestones.

Responsibilities
  • Tasker Management: Review all TIER taskers from Program Offices, the Enterprise, and Mission Partners to assess relevancy, resource allocation, and deadlines.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Conduct outreach activities with IC partners and Enterprise members to support program acquisition efforts.
  • Test & Validation Oversight: Ensure effective planning of test activities, including scheduling, resource management, and requirement satisfaction.
  • Milestone Planning & Execution: Serve as the SETA Lead, ensuring major milestones are proactively planned and all necessary documentation, schedules, and coordination efforts are completed successfully.
  • Configuration Management: Lead triage efforts for Requests for Change (RFCs), evaluating potential programmatic impacts and assigning appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Act as the Program Risk Lead, identifying and assessing risks and opportunities, collaborating with government and subject matter experts to implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph;
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;
  • Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DoD spacecraft systems;
  • Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment with excellent communication skills; and
  • Experience with program acquisition, risk management, and configuration management in a government or defense setting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including government, SETA, and FFRDC personnel.
Desired Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO);
  • STEM Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;
  • SIGINT Experience
