A growing medical manufacturing facility is hiring Injection Mold Set-Up Technicians to support production operations in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.

This is a long-term opportunity for individuals with injection molding and machine setup experience who are looking to grow their skills, earn competitive pay, and work with advanced manufacturing equipment.

Schedule

Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

+10% Shift Differential

What You'll Do

• Set up and start injection molding machines
• Perform mold changes and machine changeovers
• Load and verify machine parameters during startup
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues
• Monitor machine performance and product quality
• Perform material and color changes
• Support automated and robotic production equipment
• Complete routine equipment maintenance activities
• Respond to machine alarms and production issues
• Follow quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized production area

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Injection molding experience
• Machine setup, mold change, or process technician experience
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule

Preferred:

• Robotics or automation experience
• Blueprint reading
• GMP or regulated manufacturing experience
• Preventive maintenance experience
• LOTO knowledge

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
