Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Set-up Technician to support production by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with guidance from management. The role operates on the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:00am) in Wisconsin.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months of injection molding experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong attention to detail. Forklift certification and basic computer skills are a plus.

• 6+ months of injection molding experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test.
• Ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions.
• Great attention to detail is required.
• Ability to manage interruptions professionally and respectfully.
• Above average basic math skills and reasoning ability.
• Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees.
• Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in both written and verbal forms.
• Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed.
• Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the department as a whole.
• Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need.
