Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Molding Technician to support production by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting injection molding equipment on 2nd and 3rd shift. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate issues to operators, inspectors, and supervisors.

You will document production and QC audits, maintain equipment cleanliness, and perform repairs or modifications under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of injection molding experience.
• Ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to manage interruptions professionally.
• Above-average math and reasoning.
• Moderate computer and MS Office skills.
• Mechanical Aptitude test completed successfully.

• Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
• Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in both written and verbal forms
• Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
• Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the department as a whole
• Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need

Job Description: The Molding Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates.

2nd Shift: Monday to Friday from 3:00pm-11:00pm

3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday from 11:00pm-7:00am

Education, Skills, and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous manufacturing experience 2+ years of Injection molding experience
• Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
• Great attention to detail is required
• Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
• Above average basic math skills and reasoning ability
• Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
