Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Set Up Technician I to support the manufacturing of products by operating and maintaining equipment and processes that provide optimum customer service. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure smooth production flow.

The candidate will perform independent operation of multiple production machines, execute tool changes, and cycle through programs to obtain first article without assistance, while collaborating with other

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• Two years of previous experience, and/or equivalent training.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical reasoning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and communicate issues, propose effective solutions, and communicate clearly through strong written and verbal skills.
• Leadership, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

• Know and implement area-specific compliance issues, including quality, environmental, safety and Milwaukee Tool policies.
• Contribute to team efforts by participating in continuous improvement projects as required.
• Be responsible for enhancing the department's productivity and quality and assisting Supervisor or Team Lead as required.
• Also assist with training associates as necessary.
