Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a hands-on Set Up Technician to establish, optimize, and troubleshoot injection molding processes. You will ensure high-quality production through scientific molding, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

The role requires 3+ years in an injection molding environment and ITAR compliance. Compensation includes an hourly base rate plus a $2.00/hr shift differential, with a salary range reflecting multiple levels and a standard 3 PM–11:30 PM shift.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an injection molding environment.
• Meet ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setups, startups, and process validations; establish decoupled molding parameters (fill, pack, hold, cooling); optimize cycle times to minimize scrap.
• Identify and resolve process issues, equipment alarms, and defects (flash, sink, warp, short shots, etc.) to support floor operations.
• Lead lean initiatives to reduce downtime and scrap; collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams on root-cause corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate setup sheets and process logs per ISO/regulated standards; train floor operators on process safety and quality control.

• Mid Level: $25.00 - $31.00/hr
• Senior Level: $31.00 - $40.00/hr
