Job summary

Randstad USA in Greeneville, TN is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to drive production efficiency in an automotive environment. You will perform mold changes, machine setups, troubleshooting, and ensure IATF 16949 / PPAP compliance while optimizing cycle times and reducing scrap.

• 3+ years of molding set-up experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience following IATF 16949 / PPAP quality guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes, machine setups, startups, and shutdowns for injection molding equipment
• Establish and verify process parameters to meet quality and productivity targets
• Troubleshoot molding, material, tooling, and machine issues to minimize downtime
• Monitor production performance and adjust processes to optimize cycle times and quality
• Support APQP, PPAP, and customer automotive quality requirements
• Ensure parts meet specs via first-piece inspections and ongoing process verification
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Production teams to resolve issues
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Document setup data, process changes, downtime events, and corrective actions
• Assist in training operators on standard work, quality requirements, and safety
• Promote a safe work environment per company policies and OSHA
• Participate in continuous improvement focused on scrap reduction and OEE

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes, machine setups, startups, and shutdowns for injection molding equipment
